The St Joseph County Amateur Radio Club is dedicated to fostering amateur radio skills while supporting emergency communications as part of the ARRL ARES Indiana Section 2 Amateur Radio Emergency Service . We aim to unite ham radio enthusiasts and serve our community with reliable communication services during critical situations.

A special thank you to Dewy, K9DEW, for the generous use of this repeater, which is the tallest mounted amature antenna in St Joseph County. The repeater is at 147.330 with a Tsql of 131.8

Elkhart East Ham Fest

June 28, 2025

SJCARC will have a table at the Elkhart East Ham Fest! The 2025 Elkhart East Hamfest will be held on August 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM EDT. Location: located near Exit 96 (Elkhart East exit) of the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) on County Road 17, on the same campus as the Manufactured Housing/Recreational Vehicle (MH/RV) Hall of Fame and Museum.

Information Meeting

Come join an information meeting being held at the July RACES monthly meeting at the River Park branch of the St Joseph County Public Library. The address is 2022 E Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615.

Weekly Net

K9DEW Repeater starting Monday, July 28th @ 7:00 p.m.

We will have our first weekly net on the K9DEW repleater 147.33000 with a 131.8/131.8 (tsql). We will start with a call of our active roster and then welcome any visitors who wish to check in.
